PREP
You complete the online content and share your branding and photos at least one week before our design time.

REVIEW CALL
In a 30-minute to 1-hour phone call prior to your design date, we will review your content, website inspiration and goals, and walk through the details of our build days.

3 DAYS
Your design project will take 3 days! On the first day, I'll design your website incorporating your content and brand, using design best practices. Then I'll send you a link to preview your website. On Day 2, we'll make any revisions needed to your site.

LAUNCH
Day 3 is Launch Day! We’ll wrap up with a 90-minute launch call to do a bit of Squarespace training and make your new website live!

Custom Template
This is not a pre-designed template. I design a site custom-suited to your particular brand, style, and needs.
Guided prep work
This will help you provide what’s needed for your website ahead of time. Due 1 week before the build date.

Your site will be built on the Squarespace platform. You will pay hosting fees directly to Squarespace. (you receive a 20% discount off the first year for working with KCD!)

We’ll have up to 90 minutes together on Launch Day to make any tweaks to the site and get you launched.
After your launch, the site is all yours! You can update any elements you’d like or hire me to make the updates.

I may be able to add an additional page before launch, but it depends on the complexity of the page. Ask and I’ll let you know if it’s possible with your build!
Additional pages start at $125.

Domain name registration (this varies depending on who you use, but can run approximately $10 - $35/year)

I don’t offer website maintenance packages because I believe in empowering you to be able to manage your website yourself (or someone on your team).
I’ll provide a Website Guide with tons of tutorials to keep your website (and you) happy. However, if you truly want help to maintain your site and you are a previous client, I can do website updates for $75/hour.

I don’t provide a full branding suite, however, as part of your Starter Website, you do get a minimal mini-brand (text-based logo, color palette). I’ll provide you with a visual tear sheet that you can use for future projects and social media.

Yes! Throughout the 3 days you’ll get to see the progress and you will need to be available to answer questions. We’ll chat online, but you won’t need to be live with me until the launch call.

I understand that things come up. You can reschedule once for a $250 fee. After that, you forfeit your deposit.

You pay a 50% deposit to book your design time on my calendar. The balance of your invoice is due the day of your design time. Your website will not be transferred to you until the balance is paid.

No. These are additional features and integrations that can be added after the site is completed. Artist Website Package clients do get access to special 90-minute, half-day, and full-day rates where I can help you add to the website we create.

I will make sure basic SEO settings are in place (site title, description, browser icons, etc.) to set you up for success, however, SEO is a separate marketing exercise that you must undertake after the site is launched.
