We’ll kick things off with our 1-hour Strategy call to plan your website layout and review your content.

Day 2-4: Tuesday - Thursday
Website design time! All your branding and copy are strategically placed on your website. Your website is styled to match your branding and tell your artist story.

Day 5: Friday
Website Edit Day. I put aside 2 hours of my time to work on any website edits you send. It doesn’t seem like much, but because I’ve been doing this for a while, I can get a lot done in 2 hours. Frequently Asked Questions
-
To make the most out of our time together, I strongly suggest having a library of high-quality images for me to use on your artist website. High-quality means large photos to be displayed on your website without blurring (1500px wide minimum) and have a cohesive look.
Other than that, I will guide you through writing your content. I’ll take care of everything else! In no time, you’ll be displaying your online portfolio on your own website.
-
Not at all! We’ll virtually meet during our Stragtegy call.
After that, you’ll provide me with revisions to the website on Friday morning by 9 am. We’ll wrap up with a 1-hr call at 3:00 pm Eastern on Friday to walk through the work and launch your site!
We’ll communicate via email the rest of the time.
-
Your site will be built on the Squarespace platform. You will pay hosting fees directly to Squarespace. (you receive a 20% discount off the first year for working with KCD!)
-
I reserve 2 hours of my time on Friday for any website edits you need in the morning. More time may be available at my hourly rate if my schedule allows that day.
Artist websites often take some edits, which is why I dedicate the two-hour website slot for you. Because your site is built on the best website builder, edits on Squarespace can be made relatively quickly.
-
I don’t provide a full branding suite, however, as part of your Website in a Week, you do get a minimal mini-brand (text-based logo, color palette). I’ll provide you with a visual tear sheet that you can use for future projects and social media.
-
Yes, I offer flexible payment plans to accommodate your budgeting needs.
By default, I will take a 50% deposit and the rest on the last day of your Website in a Week (Friday). However, you can also choose to pay in monthly installments so long as the total is paid before your Website in a Week begins.
-
I will make sure basic SEO settings are in place (site title, description, browser icons, etc.) to set you up for success, however, SEO is a separate marketing exercise that you must undertake after the site is launched.
-
I understand that things come up. You can reschedule once for a $250 fee. After that, you forfeit your deposit.
-
